John and I went on a boat trip with our new friend Brent last Wednesday the 22nd. We had a great time! We cruised around around Isla Coronado it is very beautiful and just amazing white sand beaches and emerald green waters - just a paradise. Isla Coronado is part of Loreto National Marine Park. The park encompasses an area approximately 50 miles long and 25 miles wide, and includes five major islands; Isla Coronados in the north, and Isla Santa Catalina in the south, lie Isla del Carmen, Isla Danzante, and Isla Monserrate.
The National Marine Park is the third protected marine bioregion in the Gulf of California, joining ranks with the Upper Gulf/Lower Colorado Biosphere Reserve to the north above San Felipe and the Cabo Pulmo Reserve to the south. The park is fairly small, covering approximately 1,283 miles (roughly 1/2 million acres) in the Sea of Cortés.
Cai had her first boat ride - she loved it watching the waves crash on the bow of the boat. She also swam in the sea by herself with our us trying to make her swim - Hay!!! she is going to like the water after all! We all can not want to experience the beauty again.
